We have installed 'BrowseAloud' so that visitors with a visual impairment, dyslexia
or literacy difficulties can choose to listen to pages. If you are not already a
user of BrowseAloud, you will need to download it.
Downloading BrowseAloud
Click on the image below and you will be taken to an external site where you will find
full instructions to carry out the download and installation. A BrowseAloud icon
will be placed in your system tray which is at the bottom right of your browser.
For further help and assistance take a look at the BrowseAloud

How does BrowseAloud work?
After downloading BrowseAloud, run the software
and a control bar will appear. You can either use the controls to listen to the
site or simply hover over the content that you wish to read by using your mouse.
There is also an option to visualise the words which are being spoken in large lettering
at the top of the screen. The BrowseAloud software can also be configured in such
a way that a choice of voice styles and colour schemes can be used to make web browsing
easier.
